I find many folks asking what they can do to change their job search, so that they can land the job they need. I have two things, one CHANGE. Do something different. If you have given up on Job boards, try them again. Update your Linkedin profile, go to job groups, such as Pink Slipped Mixers, www.pinkslipmixers.com People Between Jobs Club www.peoplebetweenjobs.wordpress.com, or Saddleback Jobs Ministry, www.vision4work.org. Point is Try all things. The more channels you try the better the chance you have. Good Luck and good hunting.
